Meråkerfjell Ridesenter (Riding Centre)

Meråkerfjell Ridesenter was established in 1991, with 10 Icelandic horses, and in the summer of 1992, the riding centre took its first guests into the mountains on horseback.

In the years that have passed since, the number of horses and activities have snowballed, and the centre today has approx. 50 horses. In 1999, the first "Meråkerfjell" foal was born. Breeding and selling horses is now a central aspect of our activities, in addition to our mountain horseback rides.

In the winter of 2004, the centre completed its new riding hall (23 x 45 m). The hall houses year-round activities, including riding courses and training/breaking in horses.

Meråkerfjell Ridesenter is also an activity organizer, hosting kick-off events, team-building activities, and games. Activities can be organized by our activity staff, or in collaboration with others, depending on the customer's needs and wishes.
